Winner of the 2007 National Prize in Music Composition awarded by the Ministry of Culture of Colombia, Jairo Duarte-López has been increasingly recognized for his work in concert music. He is also a co-founder of Eremia-du-Arte Music, a production company dedicated to the creation of music for visual media.
